Did Einstein fail math? Many of my students ask after hearing the rumor. The myth that Einstein failed math began when he was still alive. The rumor even showed up in an issue of Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Albert Einstein found the article amusing and explained that he did not fail math. The rumor that Albert Einstein failed math is not true.

Albert Einstein was a German-Swiss-American born on March 14, 1879. Many find it difficult to believe but Einstein was not a quick learner and as a child he spoke very slowly.
His greatest breakthroughs arose from visual experiments that he performed in his head. The pathologist that made Albert Einstein's autopsy actually stole his brain and kept it in a jar for 20 years.
The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Einstein for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect in 1921. His Nobel Prize money went to his ex-wife as a divorce settlement.
Einstein was asked to be the president of Israel in the 1950s
but he declined explaining that he had “neither the natural ability nor the
experience to deal with human beings. I
am deeply moved by the offer from our State of Israel, and at once saddened and
ashamed that I cannot accept it.”
